I’d consider myself a feminist. In certain quarters calling yourself a feminist is a dirty word but it shouldn’t be. Feminism has brought is closer to equal rights but there’s still some way to go. I don’t hate men I’m raising one.
Feminism has helped bridge the pay gap between men and woman although there’s still some way to go. Feminism has opened up the world to women, we now have more options than our mother’s had and for those who work hard the opportunities are endless. I’d consider myself career-focused and headstrong. I’m proud to have raised a son who possesses all the traits that should be celebrated. A son that treats everyone equally, who respects women and who has friends of both genders and all sexualities.
So in this post I’ve collected some quotes from other headstrong feminists who I greatly admire. Enjoy and be inspired!
